What is vacuum therapy?

Vacuum therapy is a non-invasive treatment designed to address severe cellulite by using suction devices to drain adipose tissue and move fat towards the lymphatic system. This technique offers various benefits, including fat elimination, exfoliation, increased skin elasticity, and muscle relaxation.

The primary purpose of vacuum therapy is to extract adipocytes, which form the adipose tissue and contribute to the appearance of cellulite. By eliminating the orange-peel texture, this treatment enhances blood circulation and improves flow in the hypodermis, dermis, and epidermis layers.

During vacuum therapy, the affected area is massaged outward using suction. A sterile, transparent cup-shaped device is employed to suction the adipose tissue gently. In some cases, this treatment is combined with radiofrequency energy to optimize results, as these techniques enhance skin appearance and elasticity.

Typically, 8 to 12 sessions of vacuum therapy may be required to effectively eliminate cellulite, depending on its severity and extent. Following a healthy and balanced diet, along with regular exercise, can complement the treatment and yield noticeable results as early as the seventh session. After completing the treatment, it is advisable to have monthly sessions to maintain the achieved results.

Preparing for vacuum therapy does not require any special measures, although staying hydrated and adopting a healthy lifestyle are recommended.

Post-treatment care involves drinking plenty of water to aid the elimination of released adiposities through urine. It is also important to avoid fatty and sugary foods, as well as excessive consumption of flour and salt, as they can impede the elimination process.
